My name is Lee Chang Myeung, I'm from Korea.

I am writing this letter because I hope you can help me find someone who helped my father when
he was young.

It was the mid-1960s, my father, Lee Jong Seok, lived in Incheon, Korea where a woman came to
visit his house about 3 or 4 times. He remembers she always called him 'Jong Seok', but he can't
remember her name. My father was around 10 years old at that time. He has a brother and a sister. He
thinks she may have worked or volunteered with a college, but we don't know where exactly she
worked. She was around 25 years old at that time according to my father's memory.

My grandmother got a phone call from Hawaii a few times about 20 years ago, and she was asked if
there was a guy named 'Jong Seok' in the family. But she didn't understand what it was, and we now
think it probably was related with the woman who helped my father.

I searched on the Internet to find out the name of the community that helped Korea after The
Korean war, and I thought this community may be one of them. If you could please check if there
were groups that gave help to Korea, I would appreciate it. We would express our thanks to her.

My father still keeps some pictures of her. I added all the pictures he has. I hope this will be helpful to
find her.
Number 1 : her mother's picture

Number 2 : her picture

Number 3 : her picture

Number 4 : A picture of her, my father, uncle, aunt

Number 5 : her younger sister

My uncle still lives in the house where my grandmother got a call from Hawaii. The house phone
number has not changed.
032-764-5599 I hope this will be a help to chase the phone call from Hawaii
about 20 years ago.
You can email me.

Thanks for your time!

Best regards,

Lee Chang Myeung
