Webmaster Note;
    We don't know exactly where this was, so if anybody
out there recognizes the area, please let me know.
    If you look closely you can see the Davy Crockett missile launch tube on its tripod.  We were
firing at burned out tanks and trucks at about 2000 meters or so.  Somebody dropped a mortar
round on us there that just missed us!
    When these were made the unit shown is the Davy Crockett platoon of HHC, 1st Bde, 2nd Inf Div
out of Blue Lancer Valley to which I was assigned as a medic.  For those who might be unfamiliar,
the Davy Crockett could fire a nuclear round from a tripod mounted tube.  This is visable in the
photo.  We were firing high explosive round of course for practice.
